Manufactured in the E.U. to the design of Mark Smart. The mould has been developed exclusively for Mark Smart. Base metal is Zamak which has a strict quality control process and complies to the relevant E.U. Standards. Only Zamak of ZL0410 (ZL5), ZL0400 (ZL3), & ZL0430 (ZL2) UNI EN 1774:1999 Standard is purchased by our Manufacture/Partner.
Zamak quality is carefully checked to ensure consistency and recorded. Design, drawings, images and materials used are registered with the
Intellectual Property Office here in the UK to Mark Smart. Base Cap is injection moulded in state-of-the-art manufacturing
facility in the E.U. Caps are then quality checked before being sent to the
chroming facility. They then have Alkaline Copper, Acid Copper, Bright Nickel
and finally Chromium added before being returned to the factory for assembly by
hand.
